In response to a new possible OpenSSH exploit brought to our attention today, we have been forced to disable SSH access for all of our customers. SSH access through FTP is used to provide a secure connection for file transfers using a SSL certificate. The probability of this threat affecting your site is next to none...you'd be more likely to win the lottery...but the internet works in crazy ways and we take every precaution we can to protect your information.
The only inconvenience you will experience due to this precautionary measure is not being able to connect via FTP through SSH for an indefinite amount of time. This will be updated when everything is patched and safe to connect again. You may try to connect and if the issue is not resoved, the system simply won't let you connect.
We are currently developing a patch in response to this new threat and we will release the full details as soon as possible.
